Norm Asbjornson grew up in the small town of Winifred, Montana, and graduated from MSU in 1960 with a degree in mechanical engineering. He went on to establish AAON, a successful heating and cooling company based in Tulsa, Oklahoma. In 2014, Norm donated $50 million for the construction of a new engineering and honors college at Montana State University, the largest donation of its kind in the state’s history. MSU will open its doors to Norm Asbjornson Hall on Dec. 14. Side Channel Productions teamed with Montana State University and Brickhouse Creative to produce this short film detailing the life of Norm Asbjornson, which will show at Friday’s ceremony.
